Hello All,
To provide a brief background about me:
. I am an Indian CA and had cleared all 4 CPA exams back in 2009, license not obtained till date
. I am on dependent (non working) visa in US
. In the future, I am looking forward for a full fledged career in accounting and taxation with a small/mid-sized CPA firmBasically, I want to brush up my skills so that in future, I can have a hands on experience in all areas of accounting/taxation which will qualify towards experience for the CPA license.
I can’t do internships as I am unauthorized to work.
Can someone please help me with on what books/topics I should study to be competent enough to prepare to work as a full fledged CPA with a small/mid-sized CPA firm. Any free/inexpensive online courses could also help me.
I would highly appreciate any guidance as I really need to re-start my rusted brain.
Thank you in advance.
