Well I’ve had three job interviews in September. One on the 11th for a full-time accountant position with a company that deals with crushed stone and gravel. Haven’t heard back from them yet even though they said it would only be two weeks before I heard something. I had another interview on the 22 with a small cpa firm near my house for a part-time temp position during tax season that could become permanent and full-time. Now I’m waiting for the HR person to call me maybe this week. And I had one Tuesday for a full-time staff accountant position at a wholesale distributor and will have to wait until the end of next week for their decision.

This waiting on news is going to drive me nuts I swear. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Ouch. Good luck on FAR Bobcat. At least we're in a good position though. Waiting to hear back from a job interview is better than not having any interviews at all right? Still, let's hope we get some good news. I sure could use it.

I hate being a negative Nancy or Tom but rather than wait I think you should keep looking. I found myself waiting for lost causes, not that both of those companies aren't serious about you. They might have legitimate reasons for the delays. It just helps to have a backup for the backup of the backup.

Yes, I agree. Keep looking and move on to the next one over and over again until the right job comes along.
