Hi,
Here is my background.
Worked at a big 4 for 7 years and moved to a hedge fund. It has been 6 months. I have a lot more free time at work compared to when I worked at a big 4.Eventually, I’d like to relocate to London. So, my only option is work at a hedge fund in London where an US tax manager is needed. Btw, I am expanding my knowledge to fund accounting and regulatory reporting at the current firm. OR I can get a job at a big 4 london office.
If I jump back to a big 4 office, I’d like to become a director (a senior manager) in 1-2 years as I left a big 4 firm as a 2nd year manager. I’d like to know what I need to improve. I am just reading publications and tax stuff whenever I have time… but I think it isn’t enough. I understand networking within the firm is a key…
Can anyone give me advice?
My plan is to move within 1-2 years.
