tax applications position?

    So, about a month ago I applied for a tax application position at one of the regional firms (top 10) in the area. I am a tax accountant now, so I have the tax software experience that they are looking for. Does anyone have any experience in a position like this? I ask because they called me today and would like to discuss the position with me. Mostly just trying to imagine where a position like this would lead in the future.
