Has anyone passed the test (with enough qualifying experience to get your license) and immediately started your own public accounting firm? If so, what are you doing…tax? G/L accounting? auditing?

I’m curious because I’m frustrated with the quality of job prospects and I don’t know how soon they will start getting better.
