Starting in Public Accounting

    I’m going to be starting at RSM this upcoming October. I graduated in December of 2016 and other than studying for the CPA exam, I’ve been pretty bored. In order to combat this boredom, I was wondering if you guys would be able to provide insight to your experience as a first year auditor. More specifically, what did you have a hard time grasping right away as an auditor and what would you recommend I do in my downtime to prepare me for this new career?
