With the Holidays around the corner just curious on peers experience with Christmas bonuses. Just a little background I worked at a small CPA firm (10 people) a few years back, and didn’t receive a bonus there but I wasn’t a CPA yet either. I started at another small CPA firm a few months back, and in the offer letter it stated that they had 2 discretionary bonuses each year one after tax season and one late in the year.

So my question would be how common is a Christmas bonus at a small firm?

I work for a “smaller firm” 40 people in my office but we have a few other offices in California. We always have a bonus every December based on performance
