So of course, we all have our various days of wondering off track for the CPA journey with a chance rethinking if its what we really want. I know I want to become a CPA but I also have a love for stock watching and all of the relative topics associated with it. With that being said, does anyone know how hard these exams are? These are the 2 exams needed too become a registered and liscensed stockbroker.

I doubt they are anywhere near as taxing as our beloved CPA exam.

They are not nearly as hard – but keep in mind that you need to be sponsered by a FINRA registered firm to take the exams (i.e. you have to work there most likely). The review guides/questions they give you are key. 70% score to pass both and best of all, if it is still this way, you don't have to wait a long time to receive your score, you will know right when you submit your exam

This is actually something I am very interested in as well but I would have to wait a few years to make moves in that direction. I always heard that the exams were challenging but I don't know how much truth to it that there is because both people I knew kept failing and eventually lost their jobs at their companies due to it.

FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
REG-12/6/12 PASSED

I had my Series 6 and 63 which I don't use anymore (and barely used for that matter).

I never took it but I kow the Series 7 is the hardest of the 3. The 63 is super easy and the study time is really short. The study book was really small-that's all I remember.

Other than perhaps the exam you need to take to become a Realtor, I've heard the 7 and 63 are the easiest professional exams to pass.

Mini brings up a hilarious memory….Right after I had passed my last section (REG), I met up with some buddies for lunch and I was telling them that I was done with the CPA exam and one of my dumbass friends goes “DUDE, I TOTALLY know how you feel! I just passed the Real Estate exam!! We totally have to go celebrate!” *facepalm*
