Does any one on this forum uses SAS? I was advised to learn it sometimes ago and I am just so confused about its applicability to accounting and finance. So for those that have used it in the past or currently using it, do you think is a skill to have and useful in the accounting and finance, perhaps in finance analytics? Did it improve your job performance? Thanks!

I don't personally use it, but we do use it in my office. I work for a revenue department, and it is one of the tools we use to create statistical models to help us with audit selection.

Thanks ajones. Yes, it is a statistical analytics software. I assume it will be useful someday and a good tool to have handy.
