I’ve come across some openings for a sales-tax auditor position under the State Comptroller. Does anyone know the pros/cons of this position (besides govt benefits lol)?
Make fun of me all you want but everything I said is true and say anything you want about the state but they take conflict of interest very seriously. You could potentially go to jail for a conflict of interest. And everyone I worked with at the comptrollers came from either PWC or Merill Lynch and they said quitting public accounting/ Bulge Banking was the best choice they ever made with their lives and would never go back.
