Salary expectations for starting CPA in San Francisco

    I have 1.5 years experience in accounts payable and am wondering what salary range I should be looking for when I apply for auditing positions at midsize firms in San Francisco after completing my exams. (I’ll be 3 months shy of completing the audit experience requirement in California)

    I'd say about 55-65k

    FAR - 81
    REG - 74, 87

    I think Kappa is in the ballpark! I was offered 57k to start and then an additional 8-10k for busy season overtime. This was an entry level tax position.
