If there is a current Tax or Audit position available with a big 4 firm right now, does anyone know how long hiring process typically would be from the point of getting a interview to actually starting the 1st day on the job? Have a great New Year everyone!!

When I was hired for IT Audit within a big 4 I was given several starting date options. The whole process was about 1.5 months from putting in my resume to actually starting. I put in my resume at the end of August, had a phone interview the week after that. Then did an in person interview about 1.5 weeks later. I interview on a Friday and had an offer by Wednesday of the following week and was slated to start in the middle of October.

Are you in school still? If so, campus recruiting interview will be done for the students who will be expected to start by coming Sept./Oct. 2015. If you are not in school or have been out of school for over a year – you will be considered as an experienced hire. It took me about 2 months to start, since the firm was shut down for holidays.
