question about working in one state and geting license in another state

    I applied for New York State and passed all exams. But I do not have accounting firm work experience which is required for licensing in NYS, and not sure if I can have such experience in the future. If I transfer my credit to a state which I can meet the requirment for licencing, but I do not work in that state, I wonder what the CPA license can do for me? Thanks.
