I did my undergrad at a big 10 school and did poorly my final gpa was a 2.8(B.S, Accounting). However, I a getting my MSA (top 100 program) where I currently have a 3.87. I was unable to get an internship due to my undergrad gpa, and dont know what to expect when I start applying for jobs. My biggest question is if I will meet the minimum gpa requirements(3.0, 3.2 etc) since my grad gpa is high enough or if you will automatically be eliminated since my undergrad gpa is under the threshold.

The above posters are 100% correct. I personally knew a guy that connected well with the managers and he had a 2.8 undergrad GPA. They hired him, even without the CPA or Masters! And the other posters are right about not disclosing your lower undergrad GPA, but even if you did, I'm pretty sure that you just need to have a good story to tell them about why you didn't perform very well. At this time, the Big Four are experiencing growth in various services and they can't afford to be too picky. And also agree that it's a lot easier to come into these big audit firms as an experienced hire if they don't take you the first time round (that is, if you haven't networked enough). Even if you can get a little bit of experience as a contract employee in a Fortune 500 company, go for that, then try the Big Four.

I had a meeting with Deloitte last year (my friend works there) and they said once you have your CPA, they give zero F*&#*$& about your GPA. Mine was like 3.0 exactly or something, so that's nice. I hate that anyone wants to know your GPA anyway if you have a degree, that means you at least completed all the coursework and stuck with it. I'd never ask a future employee of my future company for a GPA.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83
