Hi All,

I interned last year with PwC as a core assurance (external audit) financial services intern in NYC. However, I have recently taken interest in the commercial practice. Has anyone worked in commercial specifically at PwC? I know the firm has a lot of commercial clients here in the city. I don’t start until September of 2017 but I want to get as much advise as possible. Unfortunately, I don’t have a big network in the commercial practice like I do in financial services which is why I’m a bit hesitant to make the switch. I do want to try it though. Should I got for it? What sort of clients should I expect to work on?

You likely don't have a “big network” in the financial industry either at this point in your career; so I wouldn't let sway your decision.

If you're interested in another industry, go for it. The earlier you are in your career, the easier it is to rotate industries–as a first year you're basically an interchangeable widget haha.
