So I was just wondering if anyone out there is a Senior at public accounting firm, and if you are willing to share around how much your salary is per year? I am just trying to get a general idea if I should be making more, or if I am in line. I am a senior associate with almost 3 years experience. Obviously I know location matters also, so please share what areas of the country you are from.

    Thanks in advance!

Sure – I am an Advisory Big 4 Senior 3 in Detroit (Sr 3 here = 5 years of experience at the firm from entry level).

CPA/CIA/MBA. I have a total of 5.5 years accounting/audit experience – 3 years audit prior to coming to my Big 4 employer, another 2.5 at the Big 4.

    I am at $70k.

(Not to sound full of myself, but I think this is a little higher than some of my peers make – I am ranked pretty highly among my peers. People pulling average reviews seem to be in the $65k range. I typically receive high reviews. Low review scores…well, they usually don't last long)
