I’m looking for some advice and am hoping you guys can help.
I’m starting to look for a part time job come tax season in order to get some experience and practice with clients and tax returns. I became a cpa in July and currently am fully employed.
I don’t intend to leave my day job and am guessing that most firms would like temporary help for just the tax season and nothing else.
My question is, how much should I ask for in terms of hourly pay? I don’t have that much experience doing people’s taxes, but work full time in accounting systems and have over 10 years experience (I currently work in a corporate tax department) in accounting and financial systems. Your feedback is appreciated.
Many thanks.
