So.. as of 12/19, I passed all 4 parts.

But I am not working in public, I’m working in Government, not even an accounting position. My plan is to apply to mid tier firms in the fall recruiting season, interview, and that would land me a position up to a year later.

But will my credits expire if I do not fulfil the requirement anytime soon?

Check state law. In my state, once you pass…that's it. Scores are good no matter when you do the time in.

I agree with the other poster. Once you pass all 4 in the 18 month time frame, they're good forever (as far as I know). Check with your state, however, like the other poster said.

NY State says ” Expiration of Examination Scores
In New York State, once an applicant has passed all four sections of the examination, the examination credit does not expire. Further, after successfully passing all four sections of the examination, there is no time requirement to meet the education or experience requirements for licensure. This applies to candidates who physically sat for the exam in the U.S. or abroad at an overseas location.”

Anyone has any idea on the said Rules for Arizona State?

    Thanks
