I have seen a lot of advice requested and given for those being interviewed. However, what if you are the one conducting the interview? I work in private for a growing company and was recently promoted. As part of my new position, I will be a part of second interviews along with my boss. He is doing the first interviews and then bringing me in for the second one(s). What would you want to know about a future co-worker? I know that we would all like to find someone who will work hard and mesh well with our small department, but what questions would you ask to find out? I have never been in management and have never really had to do anything like this.

Thanks for the input guys!! 🙂

For some reason, I find this to be a funny topic.

You have no pressure! Ask whatever the hell you want. hehe.

I once had a guy who did not ask me a single question. He spent the entire 30 minutes with me asking him questions, let me ask him anything that I wanted. By the end of it, he said he always likes to do that because he sees what is important to us.

I was interviewing in college for an internship, at the time I was living in Boston, and so was my sister we went to the same college (she was under 21). I don't remember how it came up but the interviewer asked me what I would do if I walked in to a bar and saw my sister there?

Then some how the fact that I had a dog came up and he asked me if my dog liked it in Boston. (please tell me how you answer that!)

I would not recommend asking questions like this, I only took the job after that interview since I knew someone who was working there and she assured me it was great experience. It was and I ended up doing 2 internships there but that was the strangest interview I ever went on.

Sorry I can't be more help, I am always asked about my resume (which I like) but that is pretty standard. We had someone put what sports teams they rooted for on their resume, my boss made sure to ask them about that.

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!
