OT: Tax or Audit job security?

I was reading articles from linkedin re: simplifying tax returns and the autofill act which leads me to think taxation job security is somehow threatened. What are your inputs?

I could see that working for fairly simple tax returns for individuals that don't have citizenship issues by themselves or with their spouse, never leave or work in another country, never leave or work anyplace other than their state of residency, don't have foreign sourced income, don't have foreign tax credits carrybacks or carryforwards, don't go to school, don't pay school tuition, don't own or operate a small business as a sole proprietor on the accrual basis, and probably many more areas where professional judgment, and not a pre-filled form, is helpful.

Couldn't pass again!
