Had 2 interviews last Tuesday with 2 different divisions of the same company…both audit positions. I feel like the interviews went great!! Sent thank you letters the next day. HR Director called me on Friday to ask which of my references I would like them to contact (I had put 4 but two are with my current employer). I asked if a decision had been made and he said that he had to call 2 references first. He called one on Friday (other one was out that day) and one late Monday. Hopefully some offers will be coming my way!!! Sent the background check info in exactly 2 weeks ago so that should probably be back by now. Looks like things are coming along 😉

lol, so glad I didnt have that as an interview question. Took me 11 times to pass 4 parts. Then I will probably answer at least I am persistent and never give up hah.

@anwell..nothing wrong with taking the exam multiple times in my opinion. Having a good answer to this question might be a good idea though.

Just received the call and both divisions want me!!! They will bump me up an additional 5k when I pass my last test!! So excited!!!!

Congratulations on the job offers Casa! I am so happy for you!

I don't know what I would've said if someone asked me that question in an interview. Probably something like ” Alot but I was half dead and I didn't pass them until the doctors fixed me up”. Sometimes…honesty and humor is all a girl has left…and my cpa license. =)

Baxter i would hire you in a heartbeat because of your persistance. Most people would have given up if they took BEC 7 times and didnt pass.
