I interned at a small local firm for my last two years of college, they hired me full time and I’ve been there for the last two and a half years.
As I close in on completing my CPA exams I’ve been thinking about if I want to stick around.
Currently they offer me no benefits and the pay is much lower than what google tells me. Do you all think it’s worth sticking around or am I selling myself short? I’m at a loss, I always thought accounting was good career, but my girlfriend makes a bit more than me, only works 9 months per year, and has amazing benefits as a 1st year school teacher. I’m starting to think maybe I picked the wrong career. Heck, even my friends who didn’t attend college get health benefits!
