Currently I am working at a firm in NJ. However, I just accepted a new position at a firm in PA. I am still waiting to hear back about my final part of the exam.

But my question is, how does it work if I am licensed in NJ but work in PA?

Do I need to get licensed in PA as well?

How would I go about doing that?

I don't think it really matters at first, as long as your not signing off on anything.

I'm working in PA, but live in NJ. There are a few partners at my firm that are in a similar boat. They generally just apply to get the license in both states. It's not too difficult to transfer your license, especially if your coming from NJ. NJ's requirements were higher than PA's. I think the standards are now comparable. Also, it's only marginally more expensive to maintain both and you have more options available to you.
