Hi everyone, I was searching for jobs online last night, and saw an ad for a startup that is looking for consultants for a new app. The app is a tax prep service for high earners and the clients upload their documents, then advisors log on and complete the tax work. The pay looked great. I thought maybe this can be a nice source of side income. Questions I had were has anyone here done something like this? Will I be signing the returns and using my own PTIN and EFIN? Wasn’t too clear on the site. I am very busy during my own tax season, but thought maybe in February before we get busy I can bang out a bunch of returns make some nice extra money. Could I even be allowed to do this while working for a firm? Thanks for the help!
