How have you guy’s negotiated salary on job offers. My current job was my first out of college and I accepted on the spot. The new position (CPA firm) is at the same level as my current CPA firm. I of course want to make more money but do not want to ask for so much that the firm pulls their offer. The new firm is a lot less travel which is huge to me, but extra money is always good. Also, asking for more vacation really does not help me, becasue the new firm offers plenty. I appreciate your help

It would be really hard to negotiate an increase of that much unless the original offer was incredibly low compared to other firms of similiar size and location. Do some online research and find out what the going-rate is for a senior accountant in your area with your level of experience.

if its b4 and a relatively junior position id expect not a lot of negotiating power… but always worth a shot.
