Hello,
I’m in job search and was just wondering how I can better get various people at accounting firms on the phone to conduct informational phone conversations for 10-15 minutes?
I’ve reached out to maybe 5-10 individuals, thus far. Of those 10, 1 responded back telling me they were too busy at the present time to speak. I typically send my resume and marketing plan with my approach email. I’ve actually had people at meetings tell me that they would be happy to help me, but then when I send an email to them, never respond; it’s incredibly frustrating. Of course, warm approaches work better, I just don’t have enough connections for warm approaches right now.
Would actually going to the door of local (ie. 1 person CPA firms) in the area and knocking on their door to set up an informational meeting be more effective?
