Hello All,

Does anyone know where I can find practice problem sets to learn how to do form 1065, form 1120 and form 1120 s tax return? Im looking for something that would involve me taking trial balances, balance sheet and or income statement, compiling the data and filling out the tax return. The reason I am looking for this is I am currently at an accounting firm and am not getting the help I need to learn how to do this. I think it would be more efficient if I could find these problem sets and practice them and learn them on my own time.

Google “Drake practice returns”

The Drake tax prep software company puts out 12 of them every year and a few are entities other than individual with full support docs and solution set. I used to give them to my staff every season to practice with prior to going live for the season.

When I tried find the solutions to the Drake problems it seems you need to have a Drake account.

Boynextdoor – Keep googling or picking though Drake, the solutions are out there. They might only have a year behind available for free or you may have to just sign up as interested to get offers to get access but they're posted somewhere in there.
