Hi there,

I was wondering what would be the best way to join Big 4 after having started my career at a publicly traded company? I do have referrals at 3/4 Big 4 so that should help. Not only that what would be a reasonable starting salary for a tax experienced hire without any public experience? In other words what could I use as selling points for hiring a tax experienced hire without public experience?. Another question that comes to mind is what kind of learning curve should I expect in terms of adjusting to Public?

Some background, I had a very poor GPA (< 2.5) but landed a job as a tax accountant and am making $52.5k after 2 years of entertainment industry experience in California. I’ve also just completed my CPA exams and have recently sent in my app for licensure. Thanks in advance!!
