Here’s my story.
I graduated with a masters in accounting in 2008. Back then, I was holding a student visa and most of the companies did not wanted to sponsor a work visa so I wasn’t able to get a job. I did however worked temporarily at at financial firm for about 8 months (until my extended student visa expired). From 2009 May till now I was/am a full time stay home mom with two kids. I wasn’t able to gain any experience during that time frame but now I’m studying for my CPA looking forward to getting a full time job in the near future.
So my question is, if I don’t have any visa issues do you think having a CPA is better to get a job?
My big concern is, huge gap between graduation and now with no proper work experience.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Starting all over again...
