Myers & Stauffer, I believe, is still the Medicaid audit contractor for nursing homes in North Carolina. Having worked for another firm doing similar audit contract work for another state, I believe you can expect extensive travel. I can't speak to that particular office's culture, hours, etc..; however, if healthcare isn't a niche you want to spend the rest of your career working in, then I would be cautious accepting a position with any firm which specializes in predominantly healthcare compliance audits.
