I am moving to nyc in a few short months and i need some advice on finding an accounting position. I have 5 years work experience in banking but i really want some accounting experience under my belt. I am comfortable with an entry level job, I just would like to know where is this best place to start? Find a recruiter? Apply to accounting firms?

I always use recruiters I think it is so much easier and it gets you in the door. I don't know about public accounting but in private industry having a recruiter really helps.

    FAR- 70, 68, 90
    AUD- 72, 85
    REG- 74, 83
    BEC- 81
    ETHICS- 90

    CA CPA
    CMA
