I have experience in buy-side M&A working under a CPA. This was almost 100% consulting with clients about acquisition targets (ID’ing, facilitating the deal, etc). Does anyone know whether this type of experience will satisfy the CPA license work requirements. In Texas (where I live), acceptable work experience includes “Providing management or financial advisory or consulting services.”
Thank you.
