Hello all, long time lurker that is currently experiencing a conondrum
I am a 3rd year tax associate with PwC who has recently been promoted to Senior, from understanding with my colleagues I have a few months to complete my exams or they firm will take my title away from me; from understanding there are no exceptions to not passing the exam and retaining the Senior title; however, for all intents and purposes from my understanding you are a Senior in the PwC system.
Is anyone on this forum familiar with the consequences for quitting during this provisional period (i.e will I still leave as a Senior), this goes for audit associates as well as the firm has the same policies for both LOS. I just can’t see myself staying for another year in a Senior role while working under an Experienced Associate title. I currently need to pass 3 exams.
Thanks
