    Hey guys,

Just started my job at GT on Monday and I am through 7/10 of FAR right now. Struggling to get through the rest of the material now, any suggestions for studying while working. Not really a morning person, so I don’t see myself studying before work. Thankssss.

You just might have to take the plunge and start before work. If I didn't have study time before work (by getting up extra early), I'd never make it through this. Best of luck!

You are so close! Do not let this job stop you from finally being done with this thing! What has worked for me is telling myself I am going to study 2 hours every night no matter what. Doesn't matter the time. Sometimes I do more, sometimes less, but I do something. Also, the longer I put it off in the night, the less I get to sleep, which is like a punishment for myself because I feel horrible at work the next day! So don't procrastinate when you get home from work. Give yourself an hour max for showering, dinner, etc. and get to work. If you meet your goal early you may even reward yourself with some TV or whatever.

Try to get just 2 little hours each night during the week (I take Friday nights off unless it's too close to test) and then kill it in the weekend. Set goals for yourself each week based on your test date and try your hardest to meet those goals every week. The closer you stick to your schedule the more you can reward yourself by enjoying your weekend nights and having some semblance of a life 🙂

    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

I have trouble studying before work as well. However, I do it on the mornings when I drop my kids off at school. I am forced to be up early those so days so I head to work immediately after. I then study until work starts.

The other days I stay in bed until the last minute. Maybe force yourself to get up like you are going to work and get out of the house to study. Go to Starbucks or McDonald's. Or even go to work like I do.

Or study during your lunch hour. You didn't mention if evenings were an option for you.

As others have stated, there are many options for you – but it's how bad you want it. Not a morning person? Either suck it up and become a morning person, or study during lunch and after work.

I personally reviewed flashcards on my way into work and on my way home, during my commute. I would also study over my lunch. I would also study 3-4 hours every night when I got home. Morning wasn't my thing either, so I chose other options. I also studied 8-10 hours every Saturday and Sunday.

If you're 7/10ths thru the material, you're almost there; however, everyone studies different and everyone has different things which work for them. Suck it up!!!!!
