I just passed my last section, and currently looking for a job. However, I need to contact the CPA I previous worked for several years ago in order to have him to sign off my hours. Since, he is not in the accounting firm i previous worked for i dont know if he may not even want to sign off my experience paper for me, and he was the only CPA in the firm I was working there.

I am wondering if I should update my resume saying that I passed all CPA exams? even though i have no license yet. I dont know if this may turn out to be an disadvantage when looking for a job when recruiter questioning about the CPA license.

I would indicate that all sections have been passed.

Just leave your scores off- they don't add any value to your resume.

Of course you should say all parts passed. That way the company knows.

I think people have responded saying they write things such as ‘All parts of CPA exam passed, awaiting for license'

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

Update your resume. Even if it's not full licensure it still looks great!

Yes. Something along the lines of “passed all 4 sections of CPA exams.”

I always thought about updating mine to “Passed all four exams, license application pending” or something to that effect, and including the same in my cover letter.
