    Hi Everyone!

I hope this posting is allowed. If not, please delete.

I am a former Another 71 alumnus. I am currently a hiring supervisor at Navy Federal Credit Union, and am looking to expand our applicant pool a little bit. We are currently looking for an Operational Risk Analyst to join our team. While this is not a traditional accounting role, I find that those with an audit background, or have some exposure to risk and controls (identification, testing, etc.), do really a well in this role. FYI, I came from the accounting world, myself (CPA + MAcc).

The primary function of this role will be to liaison with with individuals in our business lending team to understand and map out various lending processes, identify relevant risks, identify and test associated controls, make recommendations to remediate control gaps, and present findings to leadership at various levels.

Aside from a foundation in risk and controls, having knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visio, helps. Additionally, we are looking for a strong communicator that is comfortable with presenting to individuals and leaders at all levels.

We are currently looking for individuals in the Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA (outside DC) areas. This will be a hybrid position, with team members reporting onsite 1-2 days a week and working from home the remainder of the week. Salary is based on level (may be I, II, or III based on qualifications,, years of relevant experience, education, and geographic location, but has an overall posted salary range of $55k – $123,500. Additionally, level I and II analysts are nonexempt, hourly employees. Team members do not typically work more than a standard 40 hour work week (great option for those looking to get our public accounting).

Aside from base compensation, we have a competitive benefits package. I have listed some of the high-level benefits below

    – Annual bonus pay
    – Leave Accrual
    – 15 vacation days
    – 10 sick days
    – 11 paid holidays
    – 1 personal day
    – 1 volunteer day
    – Parental leave (both parents)
    – Medical/Dental/Vision coverage
    – Life/AD&D Options
    – Retirement plan options
    – 401k with 100% match up to the first 7% of your base compensation
    – Employer-sponsored defined contribution pension
    – Educational assistance
