If anyone with 3 plus years of public accounting experience is looking for a job in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, let me know. Our office is in Gaithersburg, MD. Most client sites are within a hour of the office (only there one or two days during tax season generally). No publically traded companies. Not pigeoned holed into tax our audit you do both. Audit of corp, then corp tax return, then owners tax return. Great benefits, firm vacations, ski trips, happy hours, health insurance deductible is paid by company, 40% match of 401k, flex time outside tax season, 5 hour fridays during summer.

Thanks for posting laxman06. I wish more members would post jobs to help everyone out. One thing I have noticed in the accounting profession compared to finance and consulting is that the professionals are more down to earth and willing to help each other. Best of luck filling the role.

I would have to agree nyclife with you about being more down to earth. I am just trying to work hard and make a lot of money. No need to be a jerk or anything like that. I went to a conference, they said by 2025, 75% of all current CPAs will be retired. Unreal! I just want some good hardworking co-workers, that is why I posted. Another71 got me through the exam. It was a bear but I did it and if I can do it, anyone can.
