The title pretty much. Can having a simple battery conviction on your record keep you from becoming a cpa? Here are some other relevant facts:
-late 20s
-pretty much a lowsy student my whole life
-attempted to pass cpa exam but gave up (passed a couple sections but got worn down and ran out of a mean to pay for it)
-arrest was NOT a dumb, distant mistake from youth, was fairly recent
-otherwise clean historyThis incident pretty much shocked me into reevaluating my life including trying (again) to get into a proper career but I’m not even sure if I have a chance at this point. I figured by the time I pass (if that is) I would be pretty close to getting my record sealed.
