    Hi all.

    I just had an office interview with one of the Big 4 yesterday.

    I sent thank you letters to my interviewers, but I have not received any emails back. I am so frustrated..

    Also Ive heard that people usually get offers really quickly.

    Is this a really bad sign??

    I never received any responses to my thank you letters and it took forever for them to finally send out my offer. It really depends on what office you are in and how the HR in that firm (and that office) handles things. The fact that you got the office interview means they are very serious in hiring you so don't worry at this point. I know that's impossible but at this point it is out of your hands, and probably out of your recruiter's hands until HR processes the paperwork.

    🙂

    Hope it works out!

    @CPAattheBeach

    Thanks. How long did it take for you to receive the reply after the interview?

    Haha not to freak you out but it took about 3 weeks, but I was hired in Honolulu so there wasn't HR at the office where I worked so we had to wait on people on the mainland. Like I said, it really depends on what office you are in and the HR office. 🙂

    Oh, and nothing in Hawaii moves fast so I am kind of getting used to it at this point 🙂

    Nope, no job offers. When I interviewed with my current supervisor for the first time, he gave me his business card at the end of the interview, before I had a chance to ask for it, and asked me to call him. I wanted to wait at least a week but he called me sooner than that and offered me the job!
