Hey guys,

I wouldn’t normally post things about specific companies, but given the circumstances, I think I should give it a shot.

I just got an email requesting a phone and in-person interview with a firm called J. Arthur Greenfield. The phone interview would be TOMORROW and I don’t know a thing about the company. I tried to look them up online but there isn’t a lot of information out about them.

Has anyone ever heard of them? Can anyone tell me about this company??

Any/all help is greatly appreciated 🙂

It's not uncommon for smaller accounting firms to not have a significant web presence. I don't know anything about them or their size, but I wouldn't let that influence you.

The firm in the building I work out of has a terrible website…so does my first employer.

On top of getting a job as an accountant, ask for an added bump if you create a website for them.

According to the federal audit clearinghouse, the don't do any A-133 Single Audits.

Thanks for the feedback folks…

I neglected to tell you three things, 1) they are located in the Beverley Hills area 2) the referral was the work of a recruiter I'm working with, and 3) this is a business management firm that work with high net worth clients that work in the entertainment industry. Apparently because of the “exclusive” clients, most of these business management firm websites don't have much information given they have a website at all.

My fault for withholding this information, but I was hoping there was someone who has at least HEARD of them or knows somebody (of out the whole 30 employees lol) that works there so the I can get an idea what the culture is like and whatnot.
