Hi Community –

Need advice. Currently I’m doing an internship at one Big 4 firm but considering starting at another for full-time. It’s not due to performance or co-worker issues but due to long-term career issues.

I sense that current firm I am at has had bad experiences with people not from area due to people leaving too early. Thus, people are hesitant to work with me long-term or invest. New firm has more people not from area and confirmed with inside sources this is not an issue at new firm.

I would go with the one that offered you a full time job. Either that or use the offer you do have to leverage an offer from the Big 4. It's a reasonable to tell the Big 4 you have a full time offer and if they can't extend the same then you have to leave.

Take what is the best offer on the table (not just the biggest $$$)

It's not always about the money. If the culture is better, go with that firm. You want to be there for the long-run, so you better be able to work with others
