So I am curious how other companies match up on job titles for accountants. Below are the titles my company uses from least to greatest experience/role:

I work for a large private company that is well known in the East coast. Titles beginning with entry level position:

Junior Accountant
Intermediate Accountant
Semi-senior Accountant
Accounting Supervisor
Accouting Sr. Supervisor
Finance Manager

Never heard the titles Intermediate and Semi-senior accountant until I started working at the company.

From least to greatest responsibility we have:
AP Clerk
Payroll Clerk
General Ledger Accountant
Cost Accountant
Accounting Manager
Controller
CFO
CEO

We also have a Pricing Analyst which is separate from the Accountant roles but still under the Controller. It requires an Accounting degree but that role prepares pricing for bids adhering to Dept of Defense Pricing rules which are overlapping yet distinct from the Accounting rules.
