Anyone have an understand of job implications to this matter? Would it just make it easier or eliminate jobs?

The “theory” is that corporations and wealthy people would end up with more money in their pockets, and either hire people or spend more (causing other people to need to hire)

Not convinced it would pan out that way, all could decide to just pocket the money. One thing is for sure, we need jobs and nothing thats already been done has worked.

A flat tax would eliminate some tax jobs, simply because fewer hours would be required per tax return. However, if the past is any indication a flat tax wouldn't stay flat for long. Congress would start making deductions for this, phase outs for that, and before you know it the tax code starts getting really complicated again.
