I am just curious, around what age do you start having to deal with age discrimination when applying for jobs? Also, is it just older people dealing with age discrimination, or can younger people face discrimination because they are “too young”?

I look pretty young for my age, and I know that I didn't have trouble finding a job, but I did have some people not take me as seriously as they would have if I had looked older, but once they found out I was competent it was fine.

I'm actually only 19, I turn 20 the day after my first exam. I did two years of college the last two years of high school and took some summer classes to get my degree. However I still have to go back to school for one more semester to finish up my 150 credits.

I totally disagree with that article. For the job I have now, I researched EVERYTHING about this company. I looked at financial statements, press releases, and anything else I could possibly google and made sure to reference everything in my interview. I always research before my interviews.

That was one of the many articles I have come across. Also, dealing with millennial stereotypes is especially problematic for me since I have a baby face. But life goes on I suppose.
