How Long to Hear Back From DCAA - Page 2

    I applied for the recent graduate position in Redondo Beach, CA. March 7th and I haven’t heard anything. I thought that they were supposed to send you a score based on your qualifications…all i’ve received is a confirmation email for the application

    I worked for DCAA for about two years. You can expect a min of six months to hear back after applying on USAJobs. Unfortunately there isn't a way around it anymore. I was able to circumvent the wait by entering through their internship program and working enough hours to qualify as full-time, but I don't think that program exists anymore.

    FAR - 84 PASSED
    AUD - 93 PASSED
    REG - 84 PASSED

    @msgolds wow that's a really long time, but it's consistent with old information I found in other forums….thanks for the info!

    If you stick it out, it really can be worth your while. I have been recruited heavily due to my CPA and DCAA experience. I currently work as a Consultant to government contractors, and I have been told repeatedly that my DCAA experience helps to give the firm a lot of credibility.
