How do CPA firms give out offers?

    Is it usually over the phone, by mail,or by email? Any knowledge and/or personal experience would be great.

    I've gotten verbal offers over the phone, then emailed the actual offer letter to sign.

    I was told that I would be receiving an offer at the conclusion of my in-person interview.

    I worked for a small firm and they offered me the job via phone, then on my first day I signed an actual job offer letter.

    We mail out, via FedEx/UPS, a formal offer packet which includes the terms of the offer. We follow-up that packet with a phone call to ensure they've received it and ensure they don't have any unanswered questions.
