I need to improve my GAAP researching skills (speed in finding the relevant sections as well as overall comprehension). I was perfectly confident doing GAAP research for CPA exam purposes but now that I am licensed I feel this is one of my weaker areas professionally (by comparison, managers I have worked for seem to find the relevant areas instantly).

I am currently between jobs and have time to do a little professional development on my own. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?
