HELP! Taking day off during month-end for Interview?

    Hi All!

    I’m in desperate need for advice from all of you!

    I currently work in private accounting, and we’re heading into month end close next week. Preliminary is on Friday. I just got an invitation to a net working event and interviews same day on Thursday at a regional firm.

    Is it a terrible idea to call in sick on Thursday?
