Thinking about hitting up a few cpa firms near where I work; dropping off my resume, asking about open positions, etc. Has anyone sucessfully done this and ended up with an offer? Please share your stories!

I actually never said anything to you or bad about you, but thanks for calling me pathetic. I appreciate it since you obviously know me…

    BEC: 79 - April 2011
    FAR: 78 - May 2011
    AUD: 81 - May 2012
    REG: 79 - October 2012
    Ethics: Passed - March 2013
    I am finally DONE!

No…I said, “You must not be from the United States, but to use the fact that you are from another country to excuse your piss-poor grammar and spelling would be a slap in the face to all foreigners in this country. Trust me, if you need to “pitty” (spelled pity, by the way) anyone, it is yourself. In my opinion, you're not qualified to work at a McDonald's, let alone a CPA firm.”

Also, I said, “Also, I never made fun of people who worked at McDonald's OR immigrants, I said that YOU are not fit to work at McDonald's and that to lump YOU in with the other, intelligent immigrants in this country would be an insult to them”

I am an immigrant, you nitwit. Born in Mexico, raised in the US. I'm an immigrant who knows how to write.

Clearly, knight's reading comprehension skills are at about the same level as his writing skills. (Note to self: Do not send kids to Queens College!)

    This is getting too personal/weird.

    No drama! 🙂
