Thinking about hitting up a few cpa firms near where I work; dropping off my resume, asking about open positions, etc. Has anyone sucessfully done this and ended up with an offer? Please share your stories!

baseballcpa your point about grammar and writing is to no avail….. at the end of the day that’s all you can say about me…I have already precisely sum you up in a nutshell and that you cannot change that….For commenting about Immigrants and McDonald workers you a sorry excuse for a Professional. Do you realize that while you spent about 40 minutes going over all my post regarding my “sub-par grasp of the English language” I was at home watching TV with my lady and having a good time….. But like I said before you are a simple minded, no life having, shameful representation of a CPA.

“THANK YOU(comma) THANK YOU(comma) THANK YOU……………..I knew you would have (delete “have”) eventually admitted (admit) to being an Idiot (idiot)… Don't (Don't) worry (comma) man (comma) it's okay. We live and we learn. Just dont (don't) allow yourself to be (replace with “get”) worked like a tool again over some random internet comment(period)”

lmao i am just seeing this!!! Look how silly you are with your expert grasp of American English…..smh…. Expand your horizon my little grasshopper and try learning Standard English…. Why take out HAVE and change Admitted to admit????

You criticize “To be” & suggest I replace it with “get” Once again you remarkably grasp of the American English is astounding…. I am impressed…..You are as dumb as the rest of them.

Hahahahaha omg! I'm so mad that I stepped away from the computer! @Minimorty: do you have a cached copy in your browser or do you recall any particularly hilarious excerpts you'd like to share with us? Lmao!

Haha yeah, that's your only issue, knight…I don't need to point out your flaws, you're doing it for me! How about you share that cute little blog with us? It will be like storytime!

@baseball – Aww man, you missed it. I have no idea if I could retrieve anything from my cache. If you click the link above, and then click on “Entries RSS” on the right hand side of the screen, you'll be able to see the text of his posts. It was just 5 or 6 blog posts on random topics. It was seriously tough to read through given all of the poor sentence construction and grammar. He had a short bio about attending Queens College and then commented on his own bio in the comments section by talking to himself. Weird stuff, man.

@ScruffMcGuff– haha I think everyone except Knight stopped caring 10 posts ago. I don't need to keep trying to convince people what a tool Knight is. That's like trying to convince people that Usain Bolt can beat a first grader in a foot race.

@Minimorty — that worked! I'm going to have to read some of his profound entries!

I am so confused by this thread, yet I keep returning to read the new developments! What in the world is that link rknight posted and how long did he spend making up that profile or searching for it or I don't even know?! Strange to say the least…

@IwannaBaCPA – I dunno! Knight is a weird duck. That profile is certainly not mine and I am 100% sure it is not my wife's. I also wonder if he created it himself. Very weird, indeed.

@knight – Just give up. You got owned. Do yourself a favor and take a writing class before you take BEC. You stand no chance otherwise.
